Meeting was called to order by President Gina Bowman.

 

Invocation was given by Pat Hall.

 

President Gina Bowman led everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance.

 

Introduction of guests (Florence PD & Lauderdale County).

 

Cheryl Robinson presented the minutes of the Demcember 7, 2004 meeting.  Pat Hall made a motion to accept and this was seconded by Gina Bowman.

 

Cheryl Robinson also presented the financial report.  Pat Hall made a motion to accept as presented and this was seconded by Jo Tranter.

 

Membership:  Helen Smith advised 1 new member has been added.

 

Newsletter/Website:  Gina advised newleteer is being put on web site.  Please send anything that needs to be posted.  All information about the 2005 conference is on website.

 

Area Representatives:  Nothing to report.

 

Conference Report:  Gina advised that everything was going according to schedule.  Information is on website as well as room rates.  Please register as soon as possible.  Unless something changes Gina will be unable to attend.  They are working on new conmmunications center. 

 

Executive Council:  Pat went to winter meeting and gave an update.

 

Legislative Committee:  Jo Tranter advises 911 Association will go befor the legislation in February hoping for an increase in wireless servise.

 

Training:  Marsha Jones not present

Next training will be at APCO Conference in April

NENA is looking at a Manager's class, date to be announced.

 

Historical:  Sharon Carroll not present

 

Minimum Standards:  Jo Tranter advises hoping to have something passed next legislative session.

 

New Business:  Pat Hall made a motion to buy a brick to put at the Walk of Heros at APCO International, this was seconded by Gina Bowman and carried by the members.

 

Next Meeting:  April 12, 2005 Business luncheon at conference.
