Hello to Everyone!
I hope everyone had a good Holiday Season. We had a very good turn out for our February 22, 2005 class on TTY at the Holiday Inn in Montgomery. It was a very informative class and I have received nothing but praise about it. I am very proud of Alabama APCO for sponsoring several
classes this year that met everyone’s needs. If you ever have thoughts
for a specific class you would like to see, please let us know.
I hope everyone has registered for the ALABAMA
APCO 2005 CONFERENCE. Don’t forget the
dates are April 10th through April 13th and it will be at The Perdido Beach Resort, as they have reopened. The theme this year is “Heroes Unmask”.
If you haven’t registered yet, it’s not too late. As most
of you have probably heard, I will not be attending the Conference this year. The
City of Montgomery’s new Combined
Communications Center is set to open June 2005 and
I have several job responsibilities that I must take care of. I am going to miss
seeing all of you, especially those of you I only get to see once a year at the conference.
Think of me often as I will be thinking of all of you. I have enjoyed
serving this past year as your President and appreciate the help that I have had along the way. My Conference Committee was the best. I hope to continue serving
the Alabama Chapter in some capacity for years to come.
