APCO QUARTERLY MEETING

Meeting was called to order by President Carol Penn and
opened with Pledge of Allegiance and prayer led by Pat Hall.
Pete Zecoff welcomed everyone.
Cheryl Robinson made a motion that the minutes be accepted
as presented, this was seconded by Pat Hall and carried by the Board.
Cheryl Robinson made a motion that the financial report
be accepted as presented. Pat Hall seconded this and it was carried by the Board.
Pat Hall advised that on the mid-year executive council
that her agency paid over half of her expenses for the trip.
Officer Reports:
Pat gave update of mid year conference. It started 1st weekend in February at Las Vegas, Nevada. Pat gave an oral report and will have a written report for anyone that needs it.
Be sure to go to APCO web site for information on grant. Elmore County
has been approved for a grant and several other agencies have applied.
Training:
June 2-6, 2003,
Dothan will host Basic Telecommunicator Instructor Class, register with APCO.
Conference:
Pat Hall wanted to make sure everyone got application
for the APCO Conference April 7-10, 2003.
Room Reservations need to be made by March 7, 2003, this can be done online.
Manapco night will be a tropical-patriotic theme celebrating
our 25th Anniversary.
Cheryl Robinson is handling attendants and registration
and Pat Hall is handling vendor registration.
Helen and Gina are doing entertainment for Manapco night.
Jo Tranter is doing training sessions.
Carol Penn advised it is uncertain if she will be at the
conference due to having been activated again.
Pat then went over schedule for conference.
Minimal Standards
Committee met before NENA Meeting and will try to be prepared
before next session.
