APCO QUARTERLY MEETING

BEACHSIDE RESORT

GULF SHORES, ALABAMA

APRIL 9, 2003

Meeting was called to order by Pat Hall in the absence of Pres. Carol Penn.

Meeting was opened with prayer and pledge of allegiance.

Pat Hall welcomed everyone and hoped that they have been enjoying the conference.

Cheryl Robinson presented the minutes of the February 25, 2003 and also the financial report.  Helen Smith made a motion that these be accepted as presented.  Sharon Carroll seconded the motion and this was carried by the membership.

Pat Hall presented the following from the nominating committee for Officers for 2003-2004:

President          -Jo Tranter

1^st V-President-Gina Bowman

2^nd V-President-Helen Smith

Sec/Treasurer   -Cheryl Robinson

There being no further nomination from the membership the new Officers were presented and installed by Pat Hall.

President Jo Tranter then addresses the membership.

            Quarterly Meetings:

            August 26, 2003

            November 18, 2003

            February 23, 2004

Meetings will be at 10:00 am with lunch to follow and a training session to begin at 1:00 pm.  Location to be decided at later date.

President Tranter then called for committee reports:

Pat Hall gave update on 2003 Conference and advised financial status really looks 

good, we should show a profit off the conference.

Pat also updated everyone on APCO International.

John Wyckoff updated on frequencies:  John advised in less than 6 months there will be no more wide-band frequencies.  Roger Humphrey advised how much we appreciated John and the good work that he does for us.

            Gina Bowman gave update on newsletter and advised cut off date for next newsletter will be end of June.  Gina also asked if any one wanted to take this over to let her know.

Door prizes were given out and meeting was adjourned.
