Hello Everyone!  I hope this letter finds you doing well.

 

I am excited about serving as your state President this year.  I appreciate all the support that I have already received and hope that I can do as good a job as all the past Presidents.

 

This year's State Conference at the Perdido Beach Resort was great.  Everyone appeared to have a good time.  If you did not attend, then you missed a great time.  Plans are already underway for next year's conference.  I hope everyone will plan to attend and join us for some great training sessions, food, fun, prizes and fellowship.  I know that you won't want to miss it!  So mark your calendars now for March 29 - April 2, 2009!

 

There are many opportunities for you to get involved in your chapter this year through quarterly meetings, training sessions and committees.  We need workers, so if you would like to be more involved, please feel free to give me a call.  You will find that networking with your peers from across the state can be very rewarding and you'll have the opportunity to make some new friends for life. 

 

I encourage everyone to check the Alabama APCO web site from time to time to help keep up with what is happening around the state, within the chapter and the training opportunities available across the state.  If there is something that you would like to see added, please let us know. 

 

It's a pleasure to work with you and for you.  If I or any of the executive officers can be of assistance to you this year, please contact us, as we are here to serve you.  I know that each of them would be delighted to assist you.  I look forward to seeing each of you at the quarterly meetings.  Thanks for all you do each day to keep us safe.
