The Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials - Alabama is a state chapter of APCO
- International which is the world's oldest and largest non-profit professional organization dedicated to the enhancement
of public safety communications.
With more than 300 active members statewide and more than 16,000 worldwide, APCO exists to
serve the people who manage, operate, maintain, and supply the communications systems used to safeguard the lives and property
of citizens everywhere.
Alabama -APCO is commited to providing leadership, training, the latest advancements in technology,
and helping to influence local legislation statewide for all public safety communications officials; which in turn benefits
the citizens of Alabama.
